I believe a powerful engine is not going to give you real pleasure without good suspension, good brakes and a gearbox who can handle the power. Time for some adjustments on the front suspension. :D The goal is to lose the torsionbars and mount coilovers.

The ruff plates were an indication of the final plates who had to be weld on the beam and the control arms.

At the rear there is not enough place to mount a coilover on to the rear arms directly. The solution is a rockersystem. The rocker is going to be weld on to the chassis. There will be a small bar to connect the rocker with the rear arm.

The right side panel was cut out before I bought this splitbus. With the purchase came a right panel from Creative Engineering. That panel got me frown! The fitting just sucked! :frown:

Luckily i ran on to a NOS panel. Although the panel had nine slits outwards (I need ten slits inwards) I decided to buy it. With some modifications to this panel it will fit. I also bought 2 NOS splash pans.

Adjustments start often by cutting. The C-style was a little shorter as it should be. On the NOS panel there is a part of the C-style too, so I cut off a 'little' more of the bus' C-style. :-D
